The Framework

We Make Trust Visible.

The Trust Score is a single number — earned, measured, and improved through verified participation. It is not a popularity contest, an advertising metric, or a pay-to-rank system.

Philosophy
  • → Payment unlocks access.
  • → Participation earns reputation.
  • → Reputation creates visibility.
  • → Money must never directly buy Trust Score.
Guiding Rule

Roughly 70% of the score is driven by real customer experience and demonstrated trust. The remaining 30% reflects professionalism, accountability, verification, and continuous improvement.

The Six Factors

What goes into the score.

  • Verified Reviews

Average rating across reviews verified by the platform, normalized to the category's weight.

Real customer experience is the foundation of trust.

  • Recommendation Rate

Share of verified reviewers who would recommend the provider to a friend or family member.

Word-of-mouth recommendation is the original trust signal.

  • Hire Again Rate

Share of verified reviewers who would hire the provider again.

Repeat-hire intent is one of the strongest trust signals possible.

  • Assessments

Average score across professional assessments that affect the Trust Score.

Voluntary assessments demonstrate ongoing commitment to craft.

  • Verification Status

Identity, business, insurance, and license verifications (70%) plus profile completeness (30%).

Verifications are documents reviewed by the platform — not self-claimed badges.

  • Conduct

Responsiveness and good-faith participation over time.

Trust is measured by behavior, not a single moment.

Weights are configured by the platform and may be tuned over time. Every Trust Score on the platform reflects the same framework.

For Homeowners

Why these scores exist.

Star ratings can be gamed. Ad budgets can buy the top of a list. Word of Mouth replaces both with a single number you can interpret at a glance — built from verified customer experience, recommendation signals, hire-again intent, and platform-verified credentials. A higher Trust Score means more real evidence behind the name.

Membership tier does not influence ranking. Reputation is not for sale.

For Professionals

How to improve your score.

  • Invite every customer to leave a verified review.
  • Complete your profile — photos, story, service areas, and contact details.
  • Verify identity, business, insurance, and license documents.
  • Take the assessments that apply to your craft.
  • Respond to customers in good faith. Conduct compounds over time.

Trust is earned in months, not minutes. Consistency beats intensity.
